Vision Statement Modeled after the example and
message of Jesus, the staff and volunteer members of Catholic Social Service are
dedicated to the belief that each human being is of infinite valued and
dignity and to: ·
Enable individuals to
develop his/her potential; ·
Develop a comprehensive
range of human services; ·
Promote social justice and
work to effect change; ·
Assist the poor,
disadvantaged and marginalized; ·
Affirm cultural diversity
and collaborative efforts to promote relationship in keeping with Christian ideals; ·
To advocate for
environmental protection of all the islands of the Marianas and Micronesia. Priorities ·
Continue the development
of CSS programs. ·
Develop CSS into a
self-supporting organization. ·
Develop partnerships with
public and private entities. ·
Review and redefine the
personnel structure for each program. ·
Educate CSS stakeholders,
particularly those who provide funding. ·
Conduct an annual
strategic planning assessment of CSS programs. ·
Develop a CSS Research
and Evaluation Office. ·
Provide annual in-service
training workshops and staff development courses. ·
Continue developing a Management
Information System (MIS) and the computerization of CSS administration and
programs. ·
Increase CSS’s influence
in the community.
