The fingerprinting service was established in 1984 to meet the Immigration and Naturalization Service’s needs.  While the Immigration and Naturalization Service no longer depends on the program, it continues to provide a community need.  It is now being utilized by bank employees, postal employees, teachers and nurses, SBA loan, or any other activities requiring fingerprinting.  Revenues are used to fund other projects under the Supportive Services Division.
